Many described it as the show of the century and in my eyes, it definately was. Mary Katrantzou's show for SS20 was a first to begin with. The first, ever, fashion show to be held in an archaelogical site in Greece, and where better, than the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion.
Flew there from Kefalonia for the first day of fittings alongside Head Stylist and 10Magazine's Editor-in-chief Sophia Neophitou. It was a crazy night but the team managed to sort out most of the dresses and models.
The big party started the next day with models and hair, makeup and nail teams being on fire from the start! Hair Styling team was under the guidance of none other Sam McKnight, in charge of Make up was Petros Petrohilos and nails were done by NYXI NYXI.
It was such an honor and priviledge to have worked with such creative and successful people. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, one that i will always cherish and remember. From picking up models from the airport, to unboxing and hanging the clothes, going around models and stylists photographing and videographing, to helping out the styling team, catching candid moments and meeting new people, from climbing up to the temple during golden hour to the Show itself (sigh), this was the best show i've yet attended. One to be remembered and one to be proud of being part of.
Here are some of the photos I took over the preparation of the show. Enjoy!
